Who is this training for?
Whether you just purchased your first drone or your third drone, or you’ve purchased one for someone as a gift, or if you just want to be a better and more confident pilot — then this class is for you. We cover everything from pre-flight planning, basic and advanced flying techniques, risk mitigation and emergency procedures, application and camera settings, and even what to do after you land.
What is required for BYOD (Bring Your Own Drone)?
We welcome any make/model of drone you prefer to fly, but we will ask that you make sure that prior to your session, you run any and all firmware updates, fully charge the remote controller and all batteries (have at least 1 spare), fully charge your phone/tablet, and that your aircraft is registered with the FAA via the FAA Drone Zone.
Do you need to be Part 107 Certified?
You do not need to be Part 107 Certified to take this course. You will be flying with an FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot In Command who will be responsible for the overall safety of the session.
Can I purchase training for someone as a gift?
Absolutely, and our reservation is currently setup to allow you to do that. Just tell us the student’s name and info and we’ll handle the rest.
