How It Works
DEFINE MISSION OBJECTIVE & DELIVERABLES
We’ll want to understand what and how you plan on assessing the data in the images captured before anything else, as this will determine the type of flight mission to conduct. Inspecting the tuck-pointing of a chimney would require a different type of flight than an overall orthomosaic image of a large commercial warehouse.
Pre-FLIGHT PLANNING
We’ll consider the size of the overall flight area, how many flight missions it will take to completely capture the necessary images, ground sampling distance and image overlap (for mapping flights), airspace restrictions, and we can’t forget the weather.
Flight/Image Acquisition
We’ll show up on-site at an agreed-upon date and time (weather permitting) and conduct the necessary flight(s) to obtain all of the images required. We’ll then process your images in our studio and provide you with links to your requested deliverables; be it raw data or a rendered map or 3D model.
Asset inspection is a critical aspect of infrastructure maintenance and safety. It involves the regular examination of physical assets to assess their condition and functionality. Traditionally, this process has been manual, time-consuming, and often risky. But with the advent of drone technology, a new era of aerial asset inspections has emerged.
