In recent weeks nearly every single American (and global citizen) has experienced the effects of the COVID-19 Coronavirus Crisis and its fallout is unparalleled for most.
There is a tremendous amount of uncertainty as to what is to happen next as “Shelter-In-Place” and “Stay @ Home” become the new slogans of major metropolitan areas across the country. With everything seemingly put on pause or canceled, we’re all looking for answers, assurance, and more/new things to occupy our time while we adjust to these new norms.
Here at ProAerial Media, we wanted to not only share with you our commitment to safety and the precautionary measures we’ve put in place during this time and our updated operating procedures, but also what we’re doing to help.
What We’re Doing To Help
Located in Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada, we here at PAM are fortunate to have easy access to the vast expanses that are the Mojave, Sonoran, and Great Basin Deserts. We’ve made a commitment to all of those who can’t get away right now, to seek out and capture unique and inspiring vistas, as often as we can, for the duration of this crisis. We’re calling them E-Scapes which is short for Electronic Landscapes.
So what are E-Scapes you ask? E-Scapes are bites-sized pieces of aerial drone video and photography showcasing the serene beauty only found in the desolation of the American Southwest. It’s just a little something that we can do, to help everyone still ‘get-away’ [when they can’t] while practicing safe and friendly social distancing.
Where are we going to fly? What are we going to shoot? Another great question! We keep a running list of possible flight locations that interest us so you’ll have to stay tuned to see where we end up. Additionally, we’d also love to hear any requests you might have. Precautionary Safety Measures
The team at PAM is a 100% remote, and well versed in the digital collaboration tools at our disposal in order to maintain as much semblance of ‘Business As Usual’ with tools like Slack, Zoom, Miro, Google, and the like. The previous links will lead you to the free sign-up page of each tool.
That being said, it’s anything but ‘Business As Usual’ for us all, and might not be for some time. We’ve all taken steps in our homes/offices to help keep our families and communities safe by adhering to all recommendations from the CDC, and the WHO, as well as Local, State, and Federal Government Agencies.
Flight Reservations & Operations
ProAerial Media is still conducting flights in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Southern California (we’ll update this article if that changes) — though some flights in densely populated/high-risk areas may experience scheduling delays until ‘Shelter-At-Home’ orders are lifted. Should your requested flight location conflict with ‘Shelter-In-Place’ orders, we’ll contact you right away, and work with you to either reschedule or issue an immediate refund.

We also wanted to thank all the brave and selfless men and women on the front lines of this battle. Your work is so vital to us all, and we all owe you a debt of gratitude when this is over.
We’ve all been affected by this worldwide. If one thing is for certain, crisis inspires change. We’re witnessing it firsthand. We will prevail, and we’ll be stronger for having done so. It won’t be easy nor will it be swift. But rest assured, one day soon, we’ll go back to work, we’ll go back to school, we will gather in groups again, and we’ll shop for food and supplies with ease. We just need to be patient.
