Aerial + Ground Reality Capture

Pathfinding

Immersive Property Documentation

A navigable visual record of a property, from the air to the interior.

PAM combines aerial mapping with 360-degree interior and exterior capture to create an organized, immersive record of a property or site.

Pathfinding allows remote teams to understand spatial relationships, move through documented areas, review existing conditions, and return to specific locations without requiring another site visit.

01 / The Gap

More than a map. More than a walkthrough.

An aerial map provides valuable site context, but it cannot show what is happening inside a building.

A conventional walkthrough captures interior spaces, but it often loses the relationship between those spaces and the larger property.

Pathfinding connects those perspectives.

Aerial imagery establishes the site, structures, access points, and surrounding environment. Ground-level and 360-degree capture then extend that record through exterior routes, entrances, corridors, rooms, and operational spaces.

The result is one coordinated visual reference rather than a disconnected collection of maps, photos, videos, and field notes.

02 / The System

One property. Multiple perspectives.

Aerial Context

Aerial mapping establishes the overall property layout, building relationships, access routes, site features, and surrounding conditions.

Exterior Pathways

Ground-level 360-degree capture documents entrances, facades, parking areas, service routes, equipment zones, and movement around the property.

Interior Walkthroughs

Navigable interior capture records rooms, corridors, transitions, systems, and other areas relevant to the assignment.

Navigable Property Record

The captured material is organized by location, pathway, level, and date so stakeholders can move through the property and return to specific areas when needed.

From overhead context to interior detail, Pathfinding creates one connected property record.

03 / How It Works

A field workflow built around the property.

01

Define the Purpose

PAM works with the client to identify the property, intended users, documentation priorities, access requirements, and areas that must be captured.

The workflow is shaped around the operational question, not around collecting imagery for its own sake.

02

Plan the Capture

The property is divided into logical aerial, exterior, and interior capture areas.

PAM establishes flight plans, walkthrough routes, access sequences, equipment requirements, and any repeatable capture positions needed for future comparison.

03

Capture the Site

Aerial data establishes the broader site context. Exterior and interior 360-degree capture then documents the property through planned pathways and key locations.

Additional photographs, panoramas, field observations, or supporting data can be collected when required by the scope.

04

Organize and Deliver

The captured data is processed and organized into an accessible project environment.

Depending on the selected platform and client requirements, users may be able to navigate pathways, review areas by date, compare recurring captures, create notes, or share findings with remote stakeholders.

04 / Applications

Built for people who need to understand a site remotely.

Existing-Condition Documentation

Create a visual baseline before construction, renovation, occupancy, maintenance, transfer, or other site activity.

Construction and Project Coordination

Give owners, project managers, contractors, and remote stakeholders a shared visual reference for site conditions and progress.

Facility and Property Management

Document buildings, access routes, rooms, equipment areas, and exterior conditions for ongoing reference.

Remote Site Familiarization

Help personnel understand the layout and movement through a property before arriving on site.

Insurance Documentation Support

Create a broad visual record that can support underwriting, claims documentation, condition review, and before-and-after comparison.

Multi-Site Programs

Apply a repeatable capture standard across multiple properties so teams can review locations through a consistent structure.

Progress and Change Tracking

Repeat selected aerial, exterior, or interior capture routes to document how a property changes over time.

PAM does not perform licensed insurance adjusting, engineering analysis, formal building inspections, or certified property-condition assessments.

05 / Representative Outputs

What a Pathfinding project may include

  • 01Aerial orthomosaic or exterior site map
  • 02Aerial photographs and site-context imagery
  • 03Exterior 360-degree pathways
  • 04Interior 360-degree walkthroughs
  • 05Location-linked panoramas and photographs
  • 06Organized capture areas by building, level, room, or zone
  • 07Repeat captures for progress or condition comparison
  • 08Structured field observations and supporting documentation
  • 09Client-accessible project viewing when supported by the selected platform
  • 10Original data packages for client or third-party workflows

Deliverables are selected around the intended use of the property record. Not every project requires every output.

06 / PAM's Role

Field capture connected to the operating need.

PAM provides the planning, field execution, aerial acquisition, ground-level capture, data organization, and documentation needed to build the property record.

The work can be performed as a standalone assignment or integrated into a broader client, partner, construction, insurance, facilities, or reality-capture workflow.

  • DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise aerial mapping
  • Insta360 X4 interior and exterior capture
  • DroneDeploy aerial and ground environments
  • Planned pathways and repeatable capture workflows

The technology may change by assignment. The operating principle does not: collect the right visual information, connect it spatially, and deliver it in a form that people can actually use.

07 / Field-Proven Workflow

Integrated aerial and 360-degree property capture.

PAM has supported partner-led property-documentation workflows combining aerial mapping data from a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with interior and exterior 360-degree capture using an Insta360 X4.

The resulting DroneDeploy environment brought aerial context and navigable ground-level pathways together in one coordinated project record.

08 / Engagement Models

Pathfinding can scale with the assignment.

Baseline Property Capture

A one-time aerial, exterior, and interior record of current site conditions.

Best suited for documentation, due diligence, planning, facility reference, or pre-project capture.

Recurring Documentation

Repeat capture of selected maps, routes, spaces, or project areas on an agreed schedule.

Best suited for construction progress, condition tracking, maintenance programs, and long-running projects.

Multi-Site Deployment

A standardized capture workflow applied across a portfolio of properties.

Best suited for organizations requiring consistent documentation, naming, pathways, and delivery across multiple locations.

09 / Scope Boundaries

Clear about what the record represents.

Pathfinding is a visual property-documentation service. It does not automatically constitute:

  • A licensed land survey
  • An engineering certification
  • A formal building inspection
  • A property appraisal
  • A code-compliance determination
  • A Building Information Model
  • A Google Street View publication
  • A certified property-condition assessment

When licensed surveying, engineering, inspection, or other professional certification is required, PAM coordinates its capture work with the appropriate client or licensed professional.

Pathfinding / Immersive Property Documentation

Give remote teams a clearer way to understand the property.

Whether the need is a one-time baseline, recurring documentation, or a repeatable multi-site workflow, PAM can build a capture plan around the property and the people who need to use the record.
